Introducing PitGRIP+™; a single wound combination of an 40μm ‘Barrier Film’ in combination with Agri Novatex’s 127μm PitCOVER which is applied in a single application.
As PitGRIP+™ is a single pass application, it is cost effective and easier to apply, and will save the user time and money during busy periods.
Manufactured from quality resins, PitGRIP+™ is designed to form a barrier, excluding air and reflect heat, optimising ideal anaerobic storage conditions for ensiling forage.

Usage and application:
When applying to the pit after rolling & compaction, ensure as much air as possible is forced out of the pit to create an air tight seal. Agri Novatex’s PitGRIP+™ underlay sheet is 40 micron Underlay film that is designed to form a barrier layer over the top of a silage pit or bunker.
PitGRIP Plus underlay’s unique pliable properties enable hydroscopic adsorption between the film and forage, thus eliminating air pockets while providing a barrier between the forage and top cover.
The PitGRIP Plus system reduces dry matter loss, thus ensuring preservation of high-quality feed from the time the pit is formed through to feeding out.
Firmly secure all edges of the PitGRIP+™ cover to prevent movement during storms and wind.
To assist in achieving optimal feed quality, Agri Novatex
recommend the use of Magniva™ inoculants to ensure correct numbers of beneficial bacteria are present to maximize the speed of formation and the reduction of storage losses in all silage making methods with all forages in pits, bunkers and bales.
Place with black layer facing down and white layer facing up to reflect sunlight and heat away from the silage pit. This will reduce the chance of Pit fires and minimising mould growth and spoilage beneath the silage cover.

Magniva Classic+
Inoculant
It is especially suitable for low dry matter (DM) forages – which are often lower in sugar content – requiring a quick and efficient fermentation. It delivers silage with more retained dry matter and higher nutritional value.
How it works
P.pentosaceus NCIMB 12455 quickly drives the fermentation, lowering the pH to around 4.5. L.plantarum MA18/5U drives the fermentation to completion at around pH 3.8-4.0. Dependent on DM, enzymes provide the release sugars from the forage, ensuring a quick fermentation plus help increase silage digestibility.
Silage made with MAGNIVA Classic will have reduced dry matter losses and higher nutritional value can help you maximise the energy and nutrient content of your silages for a well-preserved and high-quality feed
Why it matters
P. pentosaceus NCIMB 12455 multiplies rapidly over a wide temperature and moisture range to quickly dominate the fermentation. The use of adapted acidifying inoculants, designed for grass forages, accelerates the acidification process, thus limiting proteolysis. A combination of bacteria and enzymes helps to drive a fast, efficient initial fermentation and puts you in control of silage quality.
To answer the needs of today’s rapid harvests and ensure uniform application of the product, MAGNIVA products contains High Concentration (HC) Technology, developed by Lallemand Animal Nutrition.
